Twilight Son enhanced his enviable record at Goffs UK when Tradewinds Stud sold one of his daughters for £360,000 at this year’s Breeze-Up Sale. Out of the Lethal Force mare Babylon Lane, she became the top-priced filly at the sale after posting the fastest breeze. Tradewinds Stud pinhooked the filly from Rosyground Stud for 30,000gns at the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale. Her dam is a half-sister to the Stakes-placed juveniles Sabre (Mayson) and Wave Aside (Reset).
Twilight Son has already had two previous sale toppers in Doncaster, courtesy of Twilight Jet (£210,000 at Breeze Up Sale 2021) and Redemption Time (£220,000 at Premier Yearling Sale 2021). Another notable return for Twilight Son at this year’s sale was the £80,000 given by Richard Knight/Sean Quinn for Yeomanstown Stud’s colt out of Gr.2 Rockfel Stakes winner Juliet Capulet. This colt had been purchased as a foal from Cheveley Park Stud for 18,000gns.
