The dual Group 1 winning and Champion two year old, VANDEEK, will stand his first
season at Cheveley Park Stud at a fee of £15,000 1st October, Special Live Foal Terms,
in 2025.
VANDEEK was the highest rated British trained two year old of last year, having
remained unbeaten in four starts, which included victories in the Group 1 Middle Park
Stakes, Group 1 Prix Morny, as well as the Group 2 Richmond Stakes. He was also the
joint top Lot at the 2023 Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale when making 625,000

the speed laden family of Champion sire and Group 1 July Cup winner Annaba, and
Group 1 two year old winner and prolific producer Balbonella.
VANDEEK is now available to view by appointment and a limited number of Lifetime
Breeding Rights are available to breeders. Details of which can be given on request.
Managing Director, Chris Richardson said “We are thrilled by the response from
breeders, both domestically and internationally, endorsing the decision to stand such
an exciting stallion prospect as Vandeek at Cheveley Park Stud, in partnership with KHK
Racing Ltd. The speed influence Vandeek brings, will really suit our broodmare band as
well as that of our clients’ mares, and it is exciting for us to going back to what we do
best; speed”.
Meanwhile, ULYSSES, enjoyed his best season to date with five individual Group
winners, and will stand at a fee of £8,000 1st October, Special Live Foal Terms next year.
His leading performers included the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup winner WHITE BIRCH,
and PASSENGER, who won the Group 2 Huxley Stakes. His yearlings also continued to
be in demand this year and made up to 170,000gns.
As always, breeders are invited to contact Head of Nominations, Matthew Sigsworth,
directly to discuss their mares’ mating plans for 2025.
