2024 STALLION FEES
ULYSSES has had another solid year during which, MIGHTY ULYSSES, won the
Group 3 Sovereign Stakes and PASSENGER won the Group 3 Winter Hill Stakes.
While, Classic placed WHITE BIRCH won the Group 3 Ballysax Stakes prior to
game efforts when finishing second in the Group 2 Dante Stakes and third in the
Group 1 Epsom Derby. Other Stakes winners by ULYSSES included PIZ BADILE
and PERIPATETIC. His yearlings continued to be in demand in the sales ring this
year and made up to 160,000gns. His fee for 2024 will be £9,000SLF.
TWILIGHT SON has sired seven black type performers in 2023, including VETIVER
who won the Listed Eternal Stakes at Carlisle before finishing third in the Group
3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster. Also, his promising 2 year old daughter,
BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND, who was a £360,000 top lot at the Goffs UK Breeze Up
Sale, finished third in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, before
winning the Listed Harry Rosebery Stakes at Ayr. While his yearlings were once
again popular in the sales ring, averaging over 33,000gns and making up to
£160,000. His fee for 2024 will be £6,000SLF.
UNFORTUNATELY will continue to stand at Springfield House Stud in Ireland, and
he has had another productive year, which was headed by the incredibly tough and consistent PERDIKA. PERDIKA started fifteen times in 2023 winning two Stakes races and was also placed second in the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp. His fee will be €3,000SLF
DUTCH ART has now being retired from stallion duties, and will enjoy a happy
retirement at Cheveley Park Stud, where he will see out the rest of his years.
