BRAD THE BRIEF (Dutch Art) built upon a successful comeback run with a career-best victory in the Gr.2 Greenlands Stakes at The Curragh over the weekend for Hugo Palmer, William Buick and owner-breeder Chasemore Farm. Having won six races from ten starts at two and three, Brad The Brief now looks better than ever at the age of five. Prominent throughout, William Buick sent his mount for home two furlongs out and found a very willing partner as they booted away from Gr.1 winner Glen Shiel (Pivotal). Mooneista found a good turn of foot to lay down a challenge inside the final furlong but was unable to head Brad The Brief, who found a bit extra towards the line. There was a further three and three-quarter lengths back to the dual-Gr.1 winner A Case Of You in third.
