A powerful colt from the first-crop of TWILIGHT SON (Kyllachy) proved very popular on the opening day of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, eventually being knocked down to Kevin Ryan for 130,000 guineas. Consigned by Trickledown Stud, the handsome chesnut is out of the Group 2 Lowther Stakes winner SOAR (Damzero), making him a half-brother to KONCHEK (Lethal Force), who was runner-up in last year’s Group 2 July Stakes.

This six-figure sum comes hot on the heels of strong returns at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale, where TWILIGHT SON had three yearlings sell for €95,000, €90,000 and €62,000. So far this year, TWILIGHT SON has had 8 yearlings sell for at least £50,000.

A dual-Group 1 winning sprinter, from a proven sire-line, TWILIGHT SON stood for a fee of £8,000 (1st October, SLF) at Cheveley Park Stud in 2019.
