ENVOI ALLEN starred on day three of the Cheltenham Festival with a sparkling success in the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore. This performance marked a return to form for the nine-year-old, who had won the Gr.1 Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal in November before a disappointing display in the King George VI Chase on Boxing Day. Freshened up since Christmas, Henry produced Envoi Allen in top form to land his third Cheltenham Festival contest and the eighth top flight event of his career. This was also the third consecutive victory in the Ryanair Chase for Cheveley Park Stud, with the currently sidelined Allaho having won successive renewals in 2021 and 2022.
